I would just like to introduce myself as a new member.
My name is Keith Ward, I live in Coventry UK and I am Principal Engineer for Brett Martin Daylight Systems (Industrial roof light manufacturer). I am a member of the Steam Boat Association (UK), the Historic Narrow Boat Owners Club (Although I don't own one) and the Coventry Canal Society. I have crewed on the steam narrow boat Adamant for the past few years and am also building my own steam boat which will be a replica of Bushells steam tunnel tug Hasty. I have a website www.tunneltug.co.uk if you are interested although I probably don't keep it as up to date as I should.
Thank you for taking time to read my introduction and I look forward to participating in the forum. |

Hi Keith
Nice website. Though I don't think your air pump is over-engineered enough!
I look forward to seeing the boat one day. _________________ I've got the vehicle , just need the boat. |

Thanks for the greetings, this looks like a lively forum that people actually read and contribute to.
I admit that the air pump is a bit over the top but I bought it for only £15 which made it irresistable. It will however only have to run at about 1/3 engine speed so with such a robust design, it should out-live me without too much trouble. |
