These videos might interest some of you.

These two videos come from a friend of mine who did a bunch of work on the yacht.

Here is a bit more info on the yacht:

A youtube video of the launching (my father also has video from a different angle, will see if I can put it up soon):

Woah! I didn't realize how close a call that was! I'll bet the owner had to change his pants after that one!

Yeah no kidding.. He was the guy on the dock in the green hat, black (or dark blue) shirt and white shorts being followed by the camera crew..

If you look closely, you can see him just standing there staring as she rolled over.. I can only imagine what went through his mind at that moment.. $10million almost down the hole

I noticed that the launch has a left hand prop so in the pics of the engine room I would assume we are looking at the rear of the engine and the drive-line is not yet connected.I saw some still pics of the launch and it appears the boat and trailer rolled over any one know exactly what happened? I'd like to be clear on that so when I launch my $10,000,000 boat nothing similar happens! We should all learn from our mistakes-better yet somebody else's mistakes Laughing Den

From what I have read, there was a structural failure of the trailer bunk forward.

The engine is placed forward of the boiler.

My dad also has video of the trailer aftermath... as well as the yacht out of the water prior to launching. I will try to post more videos so you can see the setup they had.

The 3/4"-1" thick giant I-beam failed... The "Launchers" were actually house movers that got tagged for the job... I am not sure whether or not their inexperience with lauching yachts had anything to do with it.

I am pretty sure that the stability wings that they added durig the re-construction saved her. I think the starboard fin stuck into the mud when she rolled.
