Hi, I'm David Ayers, started my first boat, Rockabill, 15 years ago. Kept building bigger engines and boilers till I needed a new hull. Built Elpenor in 2002. My son, Tim, who usually come with me, has done a website, www.elpenor.co.uk which gives the history, lots of photos and has various videos of the Windermere and Thames rallies in 2007.
